Arrived without a booking but staff friendly and seated my husband and I. We had to wait for 50 minutes before the meal arrived. My husband tried his burger and could not eat it as it was too burnt leaving a bad taste in his mouth. My husband only got about 6 chips on his plate so I put some of mine on his plate. staff were very apologetic explaining they were short staffed and offered a replacement meal but my husband declined and waited for me to finish my meal. We were given a discount on the bill when we left.

Overall ok. Was told as we entered that there would be a half and hour wait to be served when the place was at best 1 third full. It would be a 1 star review if it wasn't for the waitress who served us. She had clearly been left to deal with everyone in the restaurant on her own. Kitchen staff couldn't serve up 4 meals at the same time, the kids pizza we ordered came 15 minutes after the adults meals were served. The food was ok, fairly priced but feel service was lacking.

Very pleasant relaxing meal tonight. Dunnichen Stone is a very affordable place to take your family. Down to earth food..would recommend the steak, scamp, fish and the burger. Puddings are tasty too....this is not some place for a romantic high class meal..but would recommend for families who want to stay within a reasonable budget.

Absolutely atrocious. Service was deplorable. Waitress had a massive attitude problem. This is the 3rd time in a row that food was not available. Asked for mixed grill and not even offered an alternative, the staff can't think outside the box or the chef obviously. Settled for lasagne as this had to available but wish I hadn't bothered as it was watery and tasteless. Definitely not what it used to be.

Good service. Got a table quickly even though it's busy with Christmas tables. Good good but one pie was very overcooked. Told the waitress and the manager came and resolved the issue by agreeing apologising and offering a discount on our meal. Good visit.
