THE "Mill" Resturant was a great find. situated just off the A90 at Forfar. We were amazed at the lovely set out dining areas but even more impressed when we were met by a very nice young chap who showed us to our table. The menu was varied and we chose the home made soup and sandwich combo. I had a smoked salmon with cheese on brown rustic bread , accompanied by a lovely bowl of soup.. The Cakes and traybakes were tempting but we decided on a Coffee each and we were not disappointed as there is a nice choice on offer!We would certainly be back. ....Good Food; great Service: fabulous atmosphere at a very competitive price. Give it a go, you won't be Disappointed.... VERY HAPPY TRAVELLERS
Two rooms to choose from, modern or classic in style, coffee and tray bake always good excellent for lunch but better for their evening dinning.
Nice place to eat. Staff friendly and efficient good could have been hotter and the hot chocolate was only warm
Would have been good to see a drinks menu. Twice I've been, and twice I've ordered the hot chocolate on the assumption that they have hot chocolate, because I've never seen a menu. Both times the drink was not worth the cost, but the food was definitely good.
Really great place for lunch. lovely welcoming staff and well priced, warm homely food. plus its dog friendly! Will definitely be going back.
